Recruiting Coordinator

Recruiting Coordinator – CONTRACT – Bristol, CT

This position is NOT eligible for subcontractors or those that require sponsorship

Responsibilities include reviewing and preparing all new hire paperwork; processing all background checks and applicant paperwork; assisting in inputting data into applicant tracking system and running reports;

Recruiting Coordinator Skills & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 1-2 years of related experience
• Computer skills include MS Word, MS Excel MS PowerPoint and Word Processing software.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, including a proficiency in clear, concise, and compelling oral and written communication
• Experience with scheduling interviews with several parties
• Proven phone etiquette and professionalism
• Ability to interact with multiple levels of leadership
• Experience utilizing SAP
• Experience with Kenexa or other similar Applicant Tracking System
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information
• Experience utilizing Microsoft Office products
• Task oriented with experience following structured processes
• Proven organizational and time management skills
• Prior Human Resources experience
• Familiarity with the SAP

HR Professional – CONTRACT – New York, NY



My client a leading Sports & Media organization is seeking a HR Professional for an initial three month contract in Manhattan. $20 – $30 per hour depending on experience.



PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Create, develop and maintain company human resources guidelines, process and procedures that meet the company’s needs and that are compliant with current legislation. This includes recruitment, selection, development, employment practices and procedures, employee communications and employee events. Ensures compliance by all company employees.

• Provide leadership in recruitment by developing the most creative and cost-effective ways of generating high quality candidates

• Serve as an internal consultant to managers and employees on personnel issues that affect performance, business goals and relationships.

• Work with Group Compensation and Benefits Manager to negotiate annual health and welfare plans and keeps records of benefit plans and 401K plan participation.

• Administer benefits programs such as Life, health, dental insurance, 401K plans, vacation, sick leave, and leave of absence.

• Support the team in ensuring the administering of wage and salary processes to meet budgetary goals.

• Working closely with line managers to understand departmental recruitment needs; advising on job description drafting and approval

• Coordinate staff training when necessary

• Create and manage employee recognition program

• Manage visa application process for new employees



REQUIREMENTS/CHARACTERISTICS:

• A Bachelor’s degree in business, HR or related field

• A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience providing HR support

• At least 2 years in a Generalist role

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, including ability to resolve disputes and observe confidentially

• Extensive experience in human resources or a related field

Collaborate with clients and HR partners to develop a strong understanding of department culture, business strategy and talent profiles to deliver on the hiring needs of the business.

Staffing Recruiter Skills & Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of recruiting experience; previous experience developing and executing fully comprehensive sourcing/recruitment plans
• Experience using social media tools for sourcing and branding efforts; tools include but not limited to: LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr and Diversity oriented sites & Blogs
• Proven ability to support/interact with senior-level management
• A strong business acumen with the ability to understand & interpret complex business needs and business structure
• Ability to analyze job descriptions and candidate profiles to determine target profile needs and appropriate match
• Experience in a role where multiple projects and competing demands are the norm
• Excellent consultative skills and proven success developing strong, collaborative relationships across multiple departments and levels
• Proven experience engaging high-potential prospects through targeted sourcing and cold calling
• Knowledge of enterprise-wide Applicant Tracking systems and proven experience working in a results-measured environment
• Must be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively across multiple departments and levels, and with little direction or supervision.
